In his role as CEO he is one of the foremost advocates of the banking industry and the important role banks play in our communities and economy.

Jeffrey J. Wishner joined KBW in 2002 and advises West Coast banks, thrifts and financial institutions on M&A and capital raising transactions. Previously, Jeffrey worked at Putnam Lovell Securites and Banc of America Securities (formerly Montgomery Securities) with the same industry focus. Jeffrey has over 25 years of experience and he has been involved in over 110 M&A transactions with over $22B in transaction value and over 95 capital raising transactions with over $11B raised.

Scott Schweser

Scott Schweser joined the FDIC’s Division of Insurance and Research in January 2012, where he analyzes economic trends in the San Francisco Regional Office. Prior to his current position, Scott worked in both the banking and real estate sectors, spending approximately five years at Bank of America in Boston, where he was a Vice President and asset manager focused on bank tax credit equity investments. Additionally, he worked as a senior asset manager at TCAM, a real estate advisory firm based in Boston. Scott earned an MA in Economics from Yale University.
Alex Kokkinakis

Alex Kokkinakis is a Senior Financial Analyst who joined the FDIC’s San Francisco Regional Office in March 2018. Alex has nearly ten years of experience at the FDIC, holding the roles of Research Assistant, Economic Analyst and Financial Analyst in the Washington DC office, where he researched economic developments and contributed to the production of the FDIC’s Quarterly Banking Profile. Alex currently monitors risks to financial institutions across the states and territories in the San Francisco Region.
