Updated COVID-19 Requirements

The District of Columbia has implemented a citywide vaccination entry requirement (VaxDC), which requires establishments to verify that patrons are vaccinated against COVID-19. This includes the site of the 2022 ABA Washington Summit, the Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C.

To access common spaces in the hotel, including ABA’s meeting space, attendees must provide proof of vaccination upon arrival at the Marriott Marquis. Once provided, you will receive a hotel issued wristband that must be worn throughout the duration of the event. Proof of a negative PCR test is not accepted by the hotel. Masks will be required during all Summit-related events, except when actively eating or drinking.

If DC public health requirements change, ABA will modify its policy accordingly. To learn more about DC’s protocols, click here.

Getting There

The Marriott Marquis is Metro-accessible from the Mt Vernon Sq. 7th St-Convention Center station on the subway’s Yellow Line. The hotel is approximately five miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), also a Yellow-line station, and the estimated taxi fare is $16 each way. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is approximately 28 miles away and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is approximately 32 miles away.
