Mongkha Lu Pavlick joined the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF)’s financial supervision group in 2001, as an associate bank examiner. After completing commissioning, she led a wide range of examinations of community and regional banking organizations; branches and agencies of foreign banking organizations; and financial holding companies. During the financial crisis, Mongkha oversaw a portfolio of community banks, bank holding companies, and troubled financial institutions. From 2014-2018, she served as Director of the FRBSF’s supervisory program for community banking organizations, which spans the organization’s nine-state region and includes all state member community banks, bank holding companies, and small savings-and-loan holding companies. In her current role as Group Vice President, Mongkha oversees teams with responsibility for Applications, Consumer Compliance Supervision, Credit Risk Management (“discount window”), and Fintech.
Mongkha holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures, from the University of Southern California.
