Michael Roberts is a director in Financial Institution Supervision and Credit (FISC) at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this capacity, he leads the Consumer Compliance Supervision Unit responsible for conducting compliance and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) examinations in the Twelfth Federal Reserve District.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2014, Michael managed consumer product compliance for electronic payments and money transmission services at Amazon Payments. Before his time at Amazon Payments, he was a commissioned compliance examiner for the FDIC. Previously, Michael held various roles in compliance, credit operations, and operational risk at Washington Mutual Bank.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds an MBA from Columbia College. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
