Legislative Administrative Assistant
Latifah Alexander joined the CBA government relations team in November of 2018 and serves as the legislative administrative assistant.
As the legislative administrative assistant, she schedules state legislator meetings, edits and sends position letters, plans and orchestrates the meetings for the State Capitol Advocacy Program, edits and sends the monthly Battleground newsletter, and manages CBA policy committees and the PAC administrative committee.
Prior to joining the government relations team, Latifah has served as an amending intern in the California State Assembly Chief Clerk’s office. During her time in college, she has had three years of clerical experience and served three years in student government, including being elected student trustee. She graduated with a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of California, Davis.
